How to convert DOC and DOCX to PDF on Windows 8.1?


1. Start Microsoft Word

2. Open a .DOC or .DOCX document

3. Select from main menu "File"->"Print"

4. Select Printer "PDF Printer"

5. If you need to adjust PDF generation options, click the "Property" button on the right

6. Click "OK"

7. A dialog will pop up, assign the folder and file name of the PDF document to be generated

8. Congratulations! You have converted Microsoft Word DOC or DOCX to PDF document now.

NOTE: This method applies to Microsoft Word 2012, 2010, 2007, 2003 and later versions on Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit and 32-bit.
